An Introduction

This course series covers basic information for people looking to sell residential real estate. The course has 11 lessons that cover getting your home ready for the market, marketing your home and the transaction process. The lessons will discuss potential pitfalls to look out for as well as understanding the basics of working with potential buyers. For those experienced with multiple residential real estate transactions in the past this will serve as a great overview of the process and serve to re-acquaint you with a residential real estate transaction and will increase your knowledge and understanding of the entire process.

Real Estate Agents 101

An Introduction

Understanding what real estate agents do, how they do it and why you pay them to do it can be hard to learn about from the outside. This course takes a deep dive into all aspects of real estate services to help you understand industry practices and the emerging role of technology in how real estate agents perform their jobs. The course consists of 7 lessons that cover various aspects of real estate agents service offering. The course will give you the foundational information you need to select the best agent for your needs and to determine what service level you might need.

Who's Who 101

An Introduction

This course will examine and highlight all the various stake holders involved in the typical residential real estate transaction. Real estate transactions can be complicated, much of that complication comes from the interactions of the different parities. This course will give you an overview of who is involved in a residential real estate transaction. The course consists of 8 lessons and will discuss who is resposible for what, what services they provide and inportant things to think about when using their servies. 

This course will further develop your knowledge base in the home purchasing process. It will take a more in-depth examination of the most critical aspects of the purchasing process and introduce some new concepts that depend on the buying 101 knowledge base. The course is comprised of 5 lessons, again covering topics from financing to closing. Upon completion of this course you will have a great base of knowledge to use during the purchase of your next home. You will also understand the questions to ask your Realtor as you proceed through the process.

This course will take a deeper look into the three areas of selling a home, getting it ready for the market, marketing the home and negotiating through the transaction. It will build upon the previous lessons and also introduce some new concepts that will round out the concepts of the home selling process. At the completion of this course you will have a firm understanding of the key concepts of selling, enabling you with the ability to ask the key questions and anticipate some of the most common issues.

Selling Real Estate 301
